Depends upon your activities. With 2 kids I’d go to Kata Beach. There is the Dyno Park,Phuket Zoo nearby with animal shows and pics to be taken with diff animals.. Wouldn’t recommend a boat trip since the sea is quite rough this time of the year.

There are quite a number of attractions in Phuket and its vicinity of Phanga and Krabi too. It will depend on how much time you have to spend. In Phuket, just the sights without the beach, will take you 3 days. Add in a couple of beach bumming and that will take 5 days altogether. I think there is also a gibbon sanctuary in phuket. That would be something different. Yes, there is the famous Coral Island and James Bond Islands. Theres a lot of sun and heat your kids need to cope up with though. I havent been to the zoo, but I am sure that would be a nice thing to do too. Oh, yes, the Elephant rides. Dont forget that. My husband and I rented a car whilst there. We enjoyed our trip to the marina. It was kind of nice to see the luxury yachts and build dreams of getting one too. Well, if you want a relaxing holiday, I would suggest 4 nights in Phuket. The food is great. Thai Massage is fantastic. People are nice.

All you can do in Phuket is lie on the beach and go to the disco.Personally I find the place extremely boring.
