Going to thailand on 09.01.2008, how much for a hotel in phuket?

I’m going for two weeks and can’t decide whether to buy only two way plane tickets for 640 EUR or flight plus 3* hotel for 1000 EUR. Does anyone know what would be the change to get hotel locally without preregistration? What would be the cost? I don’t care about the stars, i believe hotel is mostly place to sleep, it’s so much to to do when there.

If you need a hotel room anywhere, you should call 888-538-5777 Tell them you saw their number on a yahoo post recommending them. I cant rememebr the exact name of the company but the word travel is in the name. I have it on my cell phone as CET and I cant rememebr what it stands for.
